Message to pop out to save your engine from cracking. They are used in the design of the engine to hold bracing and other features for the internals of the motor ( aka coolant galleys ) during the casting process. They got the name freeze plug from some people having their engines freeze solid, and some of the core plugs popped out of coincidence, but they are not meant to do that out of design, and they will not save your motor.

TT BEAST IN PROGRESS!
